|Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.|
We accept credit and debit card payment through all major UK cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
|Shipping And Handling We charge a flat rate of £35 (exc. vat) for delivery throughout mainland UK. We request that you contact us on 01324 430004 if you require a delivery to remote areas of the mainland to discuss options. Look out for free delivery offers on large orders. We may occasionaly use a national courier company for small orders such as accessories if it proves more economical. We will pass any savings in delivery cost onto you, the customer.|
|Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away once payment has been cleared. We will normally send your order to you in 3-5 business days.|
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DELIVERY
We only deliver to the kerbside. It is the customers responsibility to move the goods from kerbside to where the goods are to be stored prior to laying. Please do not ask the driver to assist you in moving the goods and ensure you have adequate help on the day to move the heavy floor packs. You will need at least two people to carry a pack of wood flooring; the packs are very heavy.
|Tax Charges For orders made from the UK, 17.5% VAT is added. We currently only accept payment from, and deliver to, UK addresses.|

Cancelling an order
If for any reason you need to cancel your order with Falkirk Flooring Ltd, you'll need to contact us as soon as possible at 01324 430004. If the product has shipped already you will need to arrange for a return. If the product has not shipped you may make the cancellation and you will not be charged.
Damaged goods on delivery
This happens infrequently, but sometimes flooring sustains minor damage during delivery or contains a manufacturer's defect. If this occurs contact us immediately on 01324 430004. If items need to be returned please keep the original packaging. All returns must be authorised before returning and we are unable to pay for returns which we have not authorised. At the time you receive your order you need to be aware that you MUST check the order for damages or missing items. If you do not check the materials yourself, please make certain that the person signing for the items inspects them for damage or missing items. If no damages are noted on the delivery note Falkirk Flooring Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that occur. You should look for anything suspicious, such as rounded corners, denting and gouges. It is important at this stage to come up with an accurate count of damaged or missing pieces and note them on the delivery note. If upon closer inspection you decide that you might be able to utilize the damaged materials, you should still note the damages and attempt to make use of what you can. If after noting the damage you decide you cannot utilise the materials, contact us and we will advise you of what to do with the materials on hand. Not every order will have visual proof of damage on the outside. If you accept a shipment and sign for no damages or shortages, later discovering that there indeed are damages or shortages hidden from view, you must contact the delivering company within 48 hours of delivery to report it. We will not file any claims on your behalf after 15 business days from the time of delivery, or attempted delivery.
Special Offer Refunds
Some of our products under special offer have a full refund guarantee. If you don't like what you see when it turns up at the door then you can return the goods with the driver and request a full refund, including delivery charges. This offer is ONLY valid if you return the goods with the driver after you have inspected them. If you wish to return the goods at a later date then our standard terms of condition for returning good applies.
Returning the goods
Our aim is to deliver a high standard of customer care and satisfaction. We want you to be delighted with your purchase. Once you receive your flooring you have 15 days to decide if you wish to return it. You may make a return on goods that are made available for collection in the same condition as they were when they were delivered. (Some minimum quantities may be required.) You will be responsible for the delivery charges to return the product, as well as the cost incurred by Falkirk Flooring Ltd to ship the product to you. Some of our vendors charge us a restocking fee for which you would also be held accountable. In order to take advantage of this you MUST have a return authorization number; all returns without an authorization will be refused. If you have not been satisfied with any dealings you have had with us then please contact us. We shall respond to all enquiries within five working days of their receipt, and will resolve any complaints within ten working days.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PRODUCT IMAGES
Product images will vary in colour due to many factors such as monitor type, scan quality, etc. Images are not intended to duplicate exact visual appearance, but to serve merely as a guide or point of reference. If you require accurate visual inspection of a product for such things that cannot be conveyed accurately by an image, such as colour, feel, etc., we recommend you obtain a sample of the product to inspect prior to purchasing.
